If you all in she won't have the movement speed to run away and ends up taking full damage from your ultimate. Make sure to pay attention that she didn't use empowered W instead cause then you probably won't be able to kill her. The moment she does that she most likely is deep enough in lane so you can all in on her once her shield, movement speed dies. For example, Karma wants to hurt you so she goes in with shield, movement speed and tries to root you with her W so she can afterwards use her empowered Q. You definitely want Karma to take all the damage from your ultimate. Once you get your second hexcore upgrade you have the ability to kill her but it is still hard to do. Trade her back if she wants to damage you but avoid doing that multiple times.
It's better to focus on pushing instead of trading since Karma has a hard time farming under turret. Always try to stand behind minions and outside Karma's W range to avoid taking damage from her Q and getting rooted. She is strong and it's hard to win trades against her because she got a shield, movement speed, slow/root and damage. Draczor says “Karma is a difficult one to face in the laming phase.
